MMHC offers this pre-paid card program to empower youth (16-21 years old) who may be facing home insecurity.

A one time prepaid Visa card, or PEX card, is available to youth who are facing home insecurity in Waldo County. The program provides opportunities for them to make their own decisions about expenses, learn budgeting, and have more control over their lives.

Each qualifying youth is given a card and information regarding other resources that may be useful to them in Waldo County. They must be referred by a school counselor, a community organization, a church, or the Belfast Teen Center.
